I have strong preference for girls with chin length, neck length and even ear length of hair. Long hair below shoulder on girls is less attractive and annoying. The longer the worse. I strongly dislike when girls wear their long hair in a ponytail.

Here are some examples of shot hair vs long hair. Which one do you prefer? . I think that short hair is prettier and sexierand more comfy than long hair.

I've got a well groomed beard and mustache that I get compliments on all the time (mostly be girls/women), but my long head hair rarely gets any praise (mostly because my mustache is just better).

Anyway I'm starting to feel like it's admired in a "oh that's unique & looks cool, but I wouldn't date him" way instead of "oh he looks good, I wonder if he's single".

Basically I want to know:

- what makes long hair and/or a beard attractive?

- what you feel a guy needs physically & mentally to pull it off?

- how old are you & do you find long hair/beards appealing?

There used to be studies on this, and it found that most women prefer short hair on men, but that study has since been censored.

I see a growing trend of men growing out their hair, and I don't get why. It makes them look weak, and there's more going on there than just visuals. You're not going to wear an army helmet with long hair, you're not going to aim down sights with long hair in the way, and you're sure as hell not going to fight off the creep who touched that girl inappropriately at the bar when he can grab you hair and strangle you with it.

This is made worse when seeing the long-haired guys. They're extremely skinny, often very emotional and hot-headed, and very fragile. Some say it's hot as it's deviant, but that to me is like refusing to do exercises at boot camp and giving credit to the guy who refuses to perform his duty cause that's deviant behavior as well.

Women want a man who's level-headed, strong, protective, and kind. Men with long hair have none of those qualities and don't even look the part. A good question for them is, "Are you a girl? Cause if you're not, why are you trying to look like them?

So I have long hair and I have a norwood 2 hairline and it's looks like it's going to turn into a norwood 3 in the next 5-7 years maybe & I also have low density fine hair so a lot of my scalpe is visible where the part is.

Should I get rid of it and try a shorter style?


My hairline & density looks very similar to Brendon Urie's except mine is long down to my shoulders (look at his temples)
