in terms of breaking rules of "femininity" like, long hair is feminine, skinny is feminine etc etc. I know beauty standards shift practically every decade but I often ponder as to how vintage girls on silver screens had more freedom, they were allowed to be chubby, they could have distinct hairstyles and wear their locks short, compared to female celebrities now, bound by PR and social media presence. in fact, nowadays you gotta do this weird training to sound raw and authentic to media reporters and gen z fans, gay hockey show actors did it and youtube said there ain't no way they asked a whole marketing team to straighten things out
