Why do I feel like the ‘ugly girl’ next to my prettier classmate?

Despite having a broad frame and chunky body am flat. My T-shirt is so tight it’s cutting my arm. Why can’t i be like my classmate , tall thin white long hair , curvaceous and light eyed. My eyes are small and an unattractive shape. They are smaller at the outer corners. My nose is monkey shaped and not sharp. And am short which means my proportions will always be messed up. Not to forget my bland short hair. No outfit looks stunning on me. She’s so pretty she has the liberty to reject any guy and stay single, whereas am constantly dating to find someone as i need to start early because of my horrible looks

I agree with old man — comparison is the thief of joy. There is no use wishing you can essentially body swap with this woman, so you should start focusing on yourself and your betterment. Don’t like your hair, go get it styled. Don’t like your fashion sense, fix it, ask for suggestions, there’s plenty of forums and women out there more than willing and excited to give you tips — I have been one of them throughout my life. Go to a makeup store like Sephora, ask the professionals what you can use to compliment and shape the features you don’t like, such as contouring, light makeup, things that aren’t hard to do if you’re a beginner but make you feel better. if you aren’t happy with your shape, hit the gym. Get a trainer, do something.


Lastly, work on not being so hard on yourself. You have this one body and life, not anyone else’s, so the least you can do is start pouring some love into yourself. Even if it’s things you don’t believe yet, say it anyway because eventually you will start building up your self esteem and confidence. If you’re in some sort of mental hole that you can’t seem to drag yourself out of no matter how hard you try, then it’s time to find a professional. Go to therapy, unpack, heal your shit. Commit to turning your life around so you can one day not wish to be anyone other than yourself.

If you don't learn to love yourself how can you expect others to love you. How you lack motivation to make yourself the best version... how you talk about yourself and the comparing. You have a confidence issue in your own self. The moment you consistently work on yourself to bring out your best version is what ultimately will attract others.
