I just got a new haircut. (1st picture, straight hair) I tried to cut my hair myself by following a tutorial online but I messed it up so I had to go to a salon to have it fixed.
My hair feels way shorter now especially around my face. I have to part my hair at the back and bring all my hair in front for it to look long like in the picture but if not then it looks really short because only the front layers are showing up.
I miss my old hair (2nd pic, curly hair). It looks really good when I curl it. Now, I don't think I will be able to curl my hair anymore because of the shorter layers.
3rd picture is my inspiration pic, which I never get to achieve. I like how the bottom part looks thick and long, surrounded by shorter layers around the face. The long hair part in my hair is really thin.
Should I regret cutting my own hair/getting a haircut?
Your new cut actually suits you a lot, especially with your face shape and features 💕 The front layers frame you nicely, they just feel “too short” because you’re not used to them yet. You can definitely still curl your hair; shorter layers often give more bounce and movement. Don’t regret it, treat this as a transition cut while you grow the long, thicker ends you want.
