I think the Hobbits need to import more Orcs into the Shire for the sake of diversity and inclusion and Elves need to import more Trolls into Rivendell as well

Fantasy are things like wizards, elves, dragons, magic etc while sci fi is taking a scientific thought or hypothesis and exploring it through imagined stories.

So fantasy examples are: Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter etc

Sci Fi: Star Trek, Blade Runner, Aliens, etc

So, it's the first date at your boyfriend or GFs house and you're going to watch a movie. Your partner picks out "Montey Python and the Holy Grail and The Lord Of The Rings extended addition which would you pick and are they getting a second date because of that on the spot? As far as I'm concerned, any woman who would do this is a keeper. Also I'd pick Fellowship of the ring extended because it tricks her into being committed to cuddling for hours at a time.

I am referring to the decade 2000-2009. Most of my school-age years were during this time. I would have to say my most favorite childhood year was 2004.

I believe the early-to-mid 2000s were the best, just prior to the Obama era. Most of this PC and SJW bullshit wasn't running rampant, and I feel there was order overall and everything held together fairly well. The divisiveness wasn't as apparent, but then again, I was an innocent child.

2004 was the year of the first SpongeBob Movie (before the show went to shit), mainstream pop and alternative was good, and I was rocking that GameCube, enjoying my Zelda Windwaker and Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of the Cortex. The town I grew up was a good, upper-middle-class family suburban town. It wasn't too crowded or crazy. The megachurch I went to had a good summer Vacation Bible School Program with state of the art performing arts with a Lord of the Rings theme. I had an awesome babysitter and we used to act goofy and make noises. Everything was still affordable and I didn't remember any money troubles. Kids still played outside and rode bikes and went trick-or-treating during Halloween. Christmas was still magical.

There are most certainly good things I have now that I wouldn't trade. Still, I reminisce about the good old days.
