If we’re talking media like movies and tv, then Lord Of The Rings made for a much better movie than GoT made a tv show.

Lord of the Rings is a complete superb story. Game of Thrones is incomplete since the ending fell apart. Also the whole 'all heroes are actually scum or weak' shtick gets old.
