10 moI have so many! I might be able to break them down by genre.
“Halloween” is my favorite horror franchise.
“Alien” is my favorite scifi franchise, but “Predator” is a close second. I have obviously reveled in the crossovers!
“Back to the Future” is my favorite family friendly live action franchise.
Despite “Rocky” being a love story, the franchise is probably considered sports fiction. The squeakuels definitely concentrated less on the love story. Adrian always remains Balboa’s primary motivation though and i think a lot of people overlook that.
“The Fast and the Furious” is my favorite action franchise. Only because it’s more cohesive than the “Hulk” movies have been. Also, linking the travesty that is the MCU Hulk with the other two films is the only way to qualify under the parameters you set. Feige and his minions have only portrayed the Hulk respectfully once. May they all get incurable crotch crabs for their crimes against humanity. Ell oh ell!
“The Hangover” is my favorite bawdy comedy franchise. Mostly because “The Cannonball Run” stopped at two. “The Hangover” is great, and getting three good movies out of a single basic trope is a miracle. But the brilliance of “The Cannonball Run” was the many and varied superstars of comedy bringing their own flavor to their roles. They didn’t have to rehash old gags to eke out a squeakuel.
“Toy Story” is probably my favorite animated franchise. There is a “Hulk vs” franchise that is great too, but also stops after two short movies.10 Reply

Personally I grew up reading about Iron Man, Captain America, Spider Man and the Avengers and it has been pretty cool to see them come to life on the big screen. The movies were very well done as well.

There are so many amazing movie franchises (you mentioned one of my favourites) out there. I could list the ones I absolutely love and could watch hundreds of times without ever getting bored. But if I have to pick one, the kid in me screams, "Oooh! The Harry Potter series!!!"

I grew up reading the books and watching the movies, and I became deeply fond of the characters. I imagined myself being part of their adventures—I laughed, got excited, tried to solve the mysteries, felt angry at times, and even cried when some characters died or when I discovered the truth about Snape. I experienced every emotion while witnessing their journey. It’s a story that will always be close to my heart.

Sorry about spamming you with gifs 😶

I love the Lord of the Rings franchise. The stunning visuals, epic storytelling, and unforgettable characters make it a masterpiece. Peter Jackson did a fantastic job of bringing J. R. R. Tolkien's world to life. The combination of adventure, friendship, and bravery is captivating. Plus, who can forget the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand? 🌄 It's such a timeless and thrilling experience!

But this became quickly my favourite slasher franchise despite it not having much films, and was made for a 2 film story.
Anyway to one that actually counts Hell House LLC the first 3 are amazing the horror is actually pretty intense (And I'm a hardcore horror fan not fazed by much), Lore which teases the story very well, the way they're connected is smart, there is things you can notice and figure out as you watch and you'll miss things, the answer to why... makes a lot of sense once revealed but it leaves some more questions.
The 4th film... is awful moving to a different place and not making much sense, another one is coming soon hopefully better. I still think the 4th one has some intrigue to it maybe.
Tbh the major weakness is the heavy reliance on the clown, it's a perfectly horrific thing in the 1st film and even the 2nd perhaps the 3rd but the 4th was... like why is it here? Just felt pushed into the film because it is a very creepy design but that's not the grasp of the films as a whole. And a less is more which tbf it still tries to do.
Also Saw, I have to many for very different reasons lol

m 10 moI'm thinking hard about it but... I still haven't found what you're looking for.
In the future, it could be Dune reboot (2021) though, if the third TBA movie, Dune: Messiah makes me happy. Since I liked the books a lot, from Frank. Also the first (and only the fist) video game, its soundtrack and its alternate soundtrack. And the different mini-series released for the Dune universe. Not the first movie though, I didn't really like Dune (1984), nor the comics.

10 moTough choice, but I’d go with The Dark Knight Trilogy (Batman). Great storytelling, strong characters, and that gritty, realistic vibe just hits different. Nolan’s take on Batman made superhero movies feel deeper and more grounded — plus, Heath Ledger’s Joker is iconic.
10 Reply2K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I like several franchises: Star Wars, Star Trek (the 70s, 80s and 90s movies), Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, and The Chronicles of Narnia.
As for the horror genre, Halloween and Nightmare on Elm street.
I also like some comedy/parody franchises, such as Naked Gun and Hot Shots.
