If you haven't looked up at the night sky, it's worth doing so.

I think winter is the best time to view the night sky because it is darker, and there's more to see.

I just had a sky wall chart that I studied before I went outside, a planisphere, a torch, and a clear sky.

Orion is easy to find, and Ursula Major, and then I search to find the planets, apparently a few of them tonight are lined up in an arc.

Some nights there are meteor showers, and sometimes I try to see the space station, so it's worth a hour just to gaze at the stars.

What is your opinion?

I'm thinking about this in terms of star gazing. Light pollution has ruined our night skies. We should be able to see so much out there in the night sky but instead most of us can justsee a fraction of what we should actually be seeing, we should be able to see the Milky Way Galaxy, we can even see the Andromeda galaxy with our bare eyes too. Just look at the picture below.
