How can I be more photogenic?

So I am not very photogenic. I think I would be more photogenic if I liked my nose better. When I smile my nose does this weird thing like it is hard to explain but it is ugly to me, it reminds me of a bird's beak but it doesn't look like that. How can I be more photogenic and take better pictures?

I think I am one of the least photogenic people on earth! I feel like I look nice in the mirror but when it comes to pictures, oh my, they're bad! Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone have tips on how to take better photos?
