It's 50 years since the movie Jaws was released. In the movie, a misunderstood shark is chased and harassed by Quinn and friends, resulting in the death of a beautiful creature. These days mishandling sharks is frowned upon and most anglers and skippers will handle them with care as not to injure them.

But things do go wrong, and people get bitten. I had a smooth hound clamp down on my finger once due to carelessness and a few bull huss have chewed by boots and tried to bite my face off.

scenario:

you’re a taxi driver and you see a crowd of people arguing on the sidewalk and a few emerge from the crowd calling/hailing for taxis. Do you stop on this street and for this group? Or do you drive on?

reason for question:

I seen this clip happen in a wild movie (comedic fun), and I wondered “okay, but who would actually stop and drive people who look like they’re on a mad chase and all?”

It’s a movie- a plot, but how much of it is realistic or a possibility of happening in real life?
