How Do I Let Go Of A Guy I Met On Vacation?

I met this guy on vacation. We hung out and got a little frisky in the hot tub. He gave me his number and we text off and on but I can't get him off my mind. He said he was feeling me but I'm not sure what that really means. I feel like I can't just let him go. We don't live by each other but he said he'd really try to come see me. How much can I believe?

as someone who ALWAYS every year goes on holidays and has a holiday romance and that is what you had it never really lasts my 1st holiday romance was 5years ago he was definetly my 1st love we kept in touch for a year but it just kinda stopped I don't know who stopped but I just remember there was no more contact my heart was absolutely broken over him all I ever did was think about him

i've had 3 other holiday romances two of them I kept in contact with but when your back home its only a different story I mean they were all on a buzz about us the 1st few weeks we got home but that buzz fades away when your back home and it just becomes that person I met on holidays one year

last year I had another holiday romance I still think about him a lot! very sad I know but he was lovely we planned to stay in touch which just didn't happen

the thing about holiday romances is there great your feelings seem stronger as when in a different place than home with new people , and when you know you only have a certain amount of time on holiday the process that you would normally be really slow at home speeds up with a person on holidays

they don't last at all at some point the contacting will stop and one of you will forget about the other

I'm going on holidays in august and I'm so not looking forward to finding someone over there as I hate the hole feelings been much stronger believing its something more than it is then having to say goodbye I love holiday romances but there a bitch at the same time

so don't expect or hope for too much out of you and him as you will most likely be sitting yourself up for a big let down

I work in hotel and I met so many people that come and go. Any relationship develop from vacation, work, or bar doesn't really work. He might like you at that moment but when he gone home, the feeling disappear too. It is going to take a while for you to forget him but you will when school start because you will meet a lot of new people.
