Guys, Why would you text your ex happy birthday?

my ex texted me today saying “Hey, just wanted to say happy birthday😄 hope you have a great day!🎁🎉🎊🎉🎁“ I said thank you and of course it went back to no contact. (I was hoping a conversation would come out of it)

I haven’t spoken to him in three months and I was shocked to see that he’d even make an attempt since he cut ties because he wanted to lose feelings. Why would you text your ex happy birthday?

He cares for you. When you end a relationship in good terms you always wish your ex the best, and why not text a happy birth day if you haven't begging a new relationship?

I've come to understand that what meant to be is gonna be, which doesn't mean you shouldn't move a finger for what you want, it just means for example that if after trying your best to be with your ex, nothing happens, move on, there are tons of people on the planet and is a waste to deposit all your faith and happiness in one single person. It just doesn't worth it.

Possibly, though no longer in love, he still cares about as a friend or person. Or maybe something in his mind is rekindling. If you still have serious feelings for him, you might text on his birthday or major holiday, and see where it does or doesn't go.

Why wouldn't you text your ex happy birthday? Hell, people send happy birthday messages to people they barely know on Facebook, what's so wrong with sending one to someone who you were very close with and loved?

He simply still cares about you and understandably so. It doesn't mean he wants to get back together or even wants a conversation. He's just letting you know that he still cares about you on your special day.

I do that to some of them. I know we had a rough time before but we were younger and stupid back then. But sometimes I need to be nice to people (even I'm not like it personally). But it doesn't necessarily I want them back especially most of them have kids or with some boyfriend. I dont know, probably the reason I message them because of the good times we shared when we were dating. Since we were passionate once, I never forget their birthdays.
