What is the difference between really liking someone and caring for someone?

In the question.

Thanks.

  • Liking someone is more superficial. If you like someone, you'd hang out or chill together. Caring is when you're around for the bad stuff. You also care about what happens in their life, even the part you're not involved in.

Caring about someone means being willing to get up at 3AM if you get a phone call saying they got thrown out of a party and they need a ride home, and going out, getting them home, and making sure they're all right.

  • Liking is just a temporary feeling, sometimes the next time you

see her you may say something which is negative. But caring is

the permanent feeling for someone you care like your family &

friends or relatives that are really closer to you. Then you care for

what-ever happen to them in the most caring ways you can take.I

just can say I like that person but that doesn't mean you really

    care for her emotionally.

What Girls Said 3

  • For me, I can like someone but not really want to hear about their life, how they are doing, what they are up to, etc.

When I care about someone, I want to know all those things. I'm more interested in their life.
