Do guys keep or delete pictures after a breakup?

After an amicable breakup, do guys keep pictures (even if provocative) or do they delete them?

I have pretty much all of them
Not to stare at and cry over. Rarely look at em
But on the rare occasion that I need to refer to one, it's nice that they are there. I never understood the whole "cleansing and sanitizing" one's self of any trace their ex even existed. I mean , especially talking about a marriage, and more so if there are kids. How sad to live in denial of your very own past. Nothing about recognizing that there were good , special times with your ex - why the hell did you spend all that time with them if there weren't any happy memories made?

Depends on the guy... me personally, I delete them... however, I have a cigar box that I named, "The Girlfriend Box."... I'll print off a picture of whatever girl/woman I date from my phone, write down her name and the dates we dated from... lololololol... however... I delete everything off my phone... the box is just more of a sentimental thing to look at once every year or two

If I'm single, I'd like to look back on the memories I've shared with my ex-girlfriend whether good or bad because it reminds me of what the relationship was like and what I could do better in the next one. If I was dating someone else, I'd delete/remove them and move on because it would be the respectable thing to do. I would want to create new memories with my new girlfriend to show her how much I appreciate having her around!

I made a backup of them on my Laptop and deleted them on my mobile phone. We decided to stay friends but it doesn't work and it makes me sad to see her and to remind that we aren't together anymore so I deleted everything of her on my phone to make sure there is no way to accidentally see something of her.

Personally it depends... As long as I don't hate the person I just let normal picures in my camera roll mainly brucase its to much work to delete them, and they give memories down the line.
"Provocative picures": i have a locker app on my phone, once a picture goes in, i don't delete it unless i have a really good reason (and a breakup is not one), though i won't look at it for a while.
