Bringing another girl around ex-girlfriend, what could be the consequences?

So I dated this girl for about 2 months, and we broke up because we moved too fast and she still had feelings for her ex-boyfriend of two years. I didn't want to end things but I guess it had to happen. We have been broken up for about a month now. Since then we have hung out as friends a few times and still get along really well. I have been talking to a new girl for a few weeks now, its nothing serious but we have a lot of fun together as well. This saturday night, my roommate is having a birthday party and ex-girlfriend will be there. And I was thinking about bringing the new girl. I think the ex knows I have been talking to someone else but it hasn't been brought up in conversation, but I'm pretty sure she's heard about it from our mutual friends. I am pretty sure she still has feelings for me she just hadn't got over her old feelings for her ex yet. Part of the reason I haven't told her is because I don't want to screw things up in case there was a chance we would get back together. Should I bring the new girl?

of course she's gonna care. and be like uhh whos that bitch with him.and the girls of hers are gonna be talking telling her your way better don't worry. but if she sknows already. don't be surprised if she has an eye candy piece all up on her. jealousy is what we love to make you feel.

but she can't really have the decency to be mad.cuz she was still feeling her ex with you. but NO girl NO girl likes knowin' an ex or someone we had feelings withcan move on so fast.

if you say you guys get along well. introduce her. personally I woulf be upset because you didn't let me know oh I'm talkin to someone .i want you to meet her.its only kind. and to not be awkard.

all we can do is sit afar and watch what we onced had.not a good feeling but. maybe that's when she'll say to herself.i lost a good thing!

That's iffy. Since you only dated for 2 months and part of the reason you broke up was because she still loves her ex, it might be okay. Or, your ex will get upset and you could lose your friendship that you still have. Either way, it WILL make things awkward at the party, and do you really want that? If you REALLY like this new girl and think it's worth risking your friendship with your ex, bring her. But if you have any doubts about that, don't invite her.

Personally, I know if my ex brought his new girlfriend anywhere that he knew I was going to be, I'd be extremely upset. But our situation was a little different, and we were together a lot longer.

Yeah it wasn't really that long of a relationship, so that would make it less akward. She did break up with me, it was her call not mine. I am pretty sure she knows that if she wanted to get back together that I would be willing to work things out. Her ex was a big d-bag and treated her like shit and I'm pretty sure will do it again.

i think you should bring the new girl. cause obviously the old girl isn't over her ex therefore she couldn't committe to you. plus bringing the new girl may make the old girl super jealous and have her running back to you.

yes you should. nothing like showing your ex that if she's going to be a prude, then you can move on. it could take a lot of time before your ex is over her ex. are you gonna sit around and wait? hells no! if your into this new girl then you should bring her. let her meet your friends, have a good time. if its your roommates party, that's means its your house too, and if your ex gets and akward feeling she can leave. do it man and have a good time
