Instead of breaking up again why not lay down some boundaries and standards of behavior for yourself. Don't put up with it because it's not about her acting like your ex it's about the behavior she displaying which anyone could do.

I try to state my boundaries early on before even agreeing to date someone so that they understand what i refuse to go through again. But clearly some of these dudes didn't take me seriously. The moment he reminds me TOO MUCH of my ex by way of his actions, I call him out on it and will call it quits if i dont see change. I really dont believe people can change more than surface level. Deep down, they are still the same but cover it up so you’ll tolerate them

Before you do anything... start to analyze things while keeping in mind that the common denominator is you. If something is fucked up... it's coming from you and not these girls. If it's a repeated thing that is... I'll blame women for anything first but I'm just trying to give you some advice that works. If you see the same shit playing out... start looking at yourself to make a change in the pattern.
