A girl cheated on her guy and after the breakup arguments, since the girl refused to acknowledge she was at fault they broke up and the guy forcefully and emotionally hugged her for like a minute or two till she broke into tears. Then they separated.

Long-term Relationships even when one has Betrayed the other. It's a healthy way to close this Chapter for him and he knows it. Maybe he's even Forgiven her, after all Forgieness isn't for the other person but for the injured party not carry around bitterness, anger, hate, etc...
