What does a tight/lingering hug from your ex mean?

So I was out with friends and me and my ex boyfriend have the same friend so he ofcourse was there too. We haven't seen each other for 2 months after we broke up. When he saw me he didn't say "Hi" or even acted like I was there at all. Untill I had to leave. They all went to the bus with me so they got to spend more time with me. I was a bit tipsy and suddenly I was in the mood of hugging people. I stood there with my arms wide waiting for a hug and he than walked up to me and gave me a tight hug for a good 5 to 6 seconds when we were done I still had my arms around his neck and he took his hands way from my hips for a tiny second like he was scared to hold me longer. But he put his hands back again on my hips and looked away from me I say he jaw tense than he looked at me and said "Did you get enough hugs?" I just nodded still looking at him than he said "I don't believe you" and huged me as tight as the first one... what does that mean?

He's just being sweet and flirty. It es good seeing you again and it probably stirred up some old feelings but don't get excited. If he thinks the juice is worth the squeeze he'll contact you and ask you out again

yeah well he did say he didn't like me anymore nor cared about me but I feel like he is lying about his feelings to protect himself if that makes sense
