I use the same principle when I'm sick----when you look and feel like crap, if you look in the mirror and see that reflected back at you, it doesn't feel good, so gather up your strength and get to the gym, get your nails done, get some make-up done, get a massage, buy a new outfit---you may not feel it at first because you still may be going through it, and that's normal, but after a while, both your insides and outsides will match again, and you will start to feel good about yourself again.

I think going somewhere with a new surrounding helps. If you can take a vacation I would. Get into the best shape of your life and start hitting the gym. Figure out a great skincare routine and makeup routine that makes you look/feel beautiful. Work on cultivating a passion of yours.

Try a look back at the person you were before the relationship started and focus on dating yourself for a while treat yourself to days out by yourself and with close friends and loved ones it could be anything you could go to a museum, park, cinema, shopping etc. Just keep life going as if nothing has changed besides the fact your single now don't let one person determine how your gonna spend the rest of life because if it was as bad of a break up as you say its probably not worth being upset about in the long run and consider you've dodged a bullet and you can start a fresh new chapter in your life to get were your eventually meant to be.
Moving on doesn't come from looking your best its from being your best its okay if it takes time, everyone needs time to let things sink in as long, its skin deep. You could look a amazing on the outside but that doesn't necessarily mean you feel amazing in the inside and people can usually see through that. On the other looking good for yourself can make people feel better and more confident for sure. Maybe try a new hair colour or style you've always wanted but been to afraid or treat yourself to a investment piece in.Other women will give you advice on how to cope with it, so your confidence comes back but the thought of that ex never disappears.
In fact, some men will do the same. But we tend to internalize it, question everything, and bang our heads against the wall for about a year to figure it out.
You want to get over it asap, and actually be over it? Wear no make up, don't dye your hair, become completely comfortable in your own skin in public and do daring things for like a month. Read, write, exercise, as much as you can, and your true self will inevitably blossom again. You'll realize your faults much faster AND learn shit you can't by spray painting your face.

I wouldn’t block or delete my ex, post nothing but positivity, take bomb ass pictures, take better care of my physical and mental health, lightly flirt publicly on social media and basically just show no signs of being bothered by the break up. I’d also make a drastic change in my appearance that was more attractive than my regular natural look (I don’t wear make up and never dyed my hair)... get my nails/feet done, eyebrows waxed, new perfume etc..
Find a hobby like reading, travelling, dancing, singing, sports, workout or whatever you think fits you. It'll help you to improve yourself. Always be positive and don't forget to smile.
