Does he regret losing me?

One of the main reasons why I never really got into relationships often was because I felt that they were troublesome. My last relationship is a perfect example of why they are. I wanted to break up because I realized that I was the one putting in all the work and it was taking a huge toll on me. So that’s what I did, I broke up with him Feb. 13 (yes the day before Valentine’s Day) but we both decided to stay friends because that’s what he wanted. Until the next day he start spreading a rumor around about him dumping me which I corrected (cause I’m petty) and I told him that we were no longer cool. And after that he start contacting me on Instagram because I blocked his number, and after a while of him texting me we became texting “buddies.” (Ik this was stupid but I really liked the him.) from that point up to now there has been multiple things he’s done that make me question if he misses me like...
-The late night calls & texts
-Stalking my Instagram
-Wanting to know if I was talking to someone else
-Wanting to meet up
-Wanting my attention
-Him watching me & etc

I just wanna know what all this means. Does he miss me or is he just tryna make sure I ain’t doing good?
