Am I wrong to be upset that my boyfriend still pays some of his exes bills?

My boyfriend still pays his exes cell phone bill and storage bill. They have no kids and never been married. We have been dating for almost 8 months. He told me months ago he was going to tell her that he is going to have to cut her phone off, but he hasn't. I ask him why and he says so she can get a job. This girl is a flaming alcoholic and has no ambitions. I asked him why hasn't she gotten her stuff and he says because she has no where to put it. He only talks to her when I am not around which bugs the hell out of me. I asked him if that is all he's doing and he says yes, don't know what to believe. So am I wrong for wanting him to stop that and cut all ties?

I talked to him last night, I expressed how him footing the bill for her phone and her storage and who knows what else bothers me. He says I shouldn't be concerned but it is the principle behind it. She is a grwon ass woman who has an alcohol problem. I have expressed how he needs to cut them ties with her. He says he doesn't know what he's going to do. Not knowing what your going to do! He says he is madly in love with me. I don't know what to do with this. He's even wanting to married.

Thats not normal. tell him your not happy with that, don't shout or anything, tell him you don't feel comfortable with him being so involved with his ex. see what he says, if he's with you he shouldn't be still helping her out so much...

She's a grown woman, she can look after herself. Or at least, her family could - not her exboyfriend.

I agree, he says it is only her cell phone and storage but it could be more, who knows. The point of it is that I am not happy bout it and he needs to cut the ties
