Boyfriend said he would pick up the bills while I'm unemployed, but he's only taking care of certain ones, and we've argued about it?

So I recently quit my job because my boss is just an absolute jerk, and my boyfriend said he would take care of the bills so I didn't have to hit my savings too hard, but after I asked for money for my phone bill, he told me he's not paying that, I pointed out he told me he would cover the bills and he said "yeah bills not personal expenses" and I said they're the same thing and he said "no they're not, I'm covering rent and food, that's it" and is pushing me to get a job ASAP but I want some time to relax and enjoy life for a few months before going back what do I do?

You sound spoiled and ungrateful. He offered to pay rent, utilities, & food so you would feel less burdened about quitting a job that made you uncomfortable.
Sounds like you’re trying to take advantage of his kindness. “I want some time to relax and enjoy life for a few months” On your boyfriend’s dime… While he continues to work his ass off for TWO people now? We all want to relax and enjoy life. You’re an adult now. Get a job that enables you to do so and help your partner out.

If you don’t like it and just want to be taken care of then he’s not the one for you.

As for your former boss being an absolute jerk what happens if your future boss is an absolute jerk are you going to quit again? As for you it’s a good time to visit the unemployment office & file if you are able to. In addition start looking for a job.
