What made you cheat on your partner? Was it because you could? We're you trying to escape them? Why did you cheat instead of break up?

What made you cheat on your partner?
I was not in a good place. Things were really bad with my family, I was doing bad at school, social life a mess. I was not well. My girlfriend of the time wasn't there for me, but another girl was. She gave me the care and help I needed so it happened.

Was it because you could?
No. It was not planned at all. I was not well for a long time and with the other girl, thanks to the other girl, sudddenly I was.

We're you trying to escape them?
No. I loved her.

Why did you cheat instead of break up?
I should have. The other girl liked me. Really liked me. But I was to in love with my girlfriend to end things. I felt so bad for cheating and to lead the other girl on. An amazing girl who cared about me.

This was more a less 15 years ago. I am married now with someone else. Of course I know I should have done things differentlly back then.

I think the answer of the question of why the didn't break up is because the are afraid of losing someone who loves and cares about them. My ex always begged me to stay whenever i caught him cheating. One time he even cried so that i could stay. In my mind i was thinking "omg men don't cry he really loves me and i know he'll never cheat again"🤡 we finally broke up early last year but he still makes attempts to reach me
