So I've been keeping my distance from him, and only messaging him with things to do with our kids. I'm working on me, learning how to be alone and all round just trying to survive the break up. I do want to work things out, but im not keeping my hopes up.
I went low contact, and I told him I was doing this so I can heal and get over the pain. He still messaged me. Yes about kid stuff, but some of it didn't seem important. He did apologise. He just said he would think of things he needed to ask me and sent it through before he forgot. I never ignored him, just didn't rush to get back to him.
I went to my dr so I could get a referral to a therapist. Communication was an issue before we split, among other things like us not supporting each other like we should have. Dr suggested that talking to each other may actually help, so cutting him off may send the wrong message.
Ok, fair enough. When he messaged, I didn't try to cut it short like normal, I just let it run its course.
Then he started calling again. He called rather than texted, usually short and sweet. he's started calling me the past few afternoons just to tell me what his plans are after work?
Then he would come around and spend time with our child. But rather than just pick up/drop off, he would stay for hours and spend time with us both. Some times he was hot and cold, like having fun one minute and then getting frustrated and snapping the next.
Then he came around and it was like he never left. Doing stuff around the house, spending time with our child and talking to me. On occasion he got close to me, and he even got in a sneaky boob squeeze when he reached for something lol.
We haven't spoke about trying again. He knows that's what I want, so it's up to him to come to me. If he doesn't, that's his loss and I will just move on when I'm ready.
But am I looking too far Into these signs? I keep getting told im being used, get rid of him, but he's never been like that. He's not seeing anyone else either.
