My boyfriend still has pictures of him & his ex on his phone?

I saw some pictures of my boyfriend and his ex on his phone … at this point I don’t even know if it’s even worth staying with him but he claims he forgot he even had them in his phone Bc there old. Keep in mind some of the pictures are explicit and it just threw me all the way off. I don’t even want to look at him. I don’t understand how you can forget u have these kind of pictures on your phone right after your break up. Like I had pics with my ex before him but I deleted everything immediately after we broke up. So I’m sitting here wondering if he’s actually being genuine and honest about forgetting about the pictures or if he’s lying. I would want to talk to him about it but he’s sleeping and always high. It’s annoying Bc I’m not even sure if he can process what I’m saying or the emotions I’m feeling. I’m so frustrated.

I have all sorts of weird stuff on my phones that I used to joke around with friends with. No nudes of people, but I have no interest in nudes on my phone. But if you were dating me, you'd see all sorts of the female ghostbusters visiting sick kids in a hospital, and probably be pretty weirded out by it. Pic entirely related. I'd post some of the more extreme ones that would definitely make you go "WTF," but I'm pretty sure its too much.

Anyways, I wouldn't worry about it, especially if he doesn't have a problem deleting them.

Nowadays people have heaps of pictures in their "phone". It's easy to lose overview; especially when one does not care about it that much.
Now add all the naughty pictures that my buddies send me unasked for - and hell breaks lose when 'you' see something serious with that 🤕

And? The ex was also still part of his life for a time and you can't just pretend they weren't.
Its simply immature to want/expect them to remove it as if they were never there.
You're also dating a dude who's always high? so expecting quality from a druggie is really your own fault.

I still have pics of my ex on my phone bc I just couldn’t be bothered to delete them and I don’t really look back on the pics anw so I forgot that I still have them, same goes with my boyfriend - he still has pics of his ex probably
