How do you cope?

My ex left me and took the engagement ring back because of me questioning him making fat shaming comments. He told me that he should have left me a long time ago and also that I was holding him back. Soon after he told me to get it through my head that it was over and told me he was moving on. How do you cope with this?

As hard as it is to go through a break up, try thinking that it's far better it ended than to be stuck in a relationship or married to someone that doesn't love or respect you... Take the time to heal and also realize it's his loss, not yours... And hopefully you'll find that person that loves and respects you for who you are..

It's hard to cope with it but time it takes time to heal. Plus at least you got an answer before you married. It's best to know how he felt that he said he should have left you a long time ago. Praying helps, listening to worship music helps me cope with any sadness. Sorrounding yourself with people who like being around you and taking care of yourself will help too
