Will you date someone who hates cats?

Question

I volunteer in animal shelters and rescue cats/dogs, feed them, treat them in my free time. I like dogs too but prefer cats more, they are actually social and very nice, compared to most people who consider them. I have noticed some girls like cats, some dislike because of allergies and some absolutely hate them only because they love dogs. Otherwise, some girls associate dogs with masculinity and cats being feminine.
Those last types of girls are always turned out to be extremely horrible and selfish persons in real life. It's okay if you are allergic but pseudo animal lover girls are the worst. If you want to notice red flags in dating ask the other person the cats or dogs question.

Don’t get me wrong as I have a Thom Cat 🐈‍⬛ who goes airborne at Canadian Geese. He’s pretty good at making babies too.-Although Grey-White and Red-Orange btch DONT make pretty babies 🙀. I don’t even know what to call it but Swirl ain’t it. Shake and Bake might be better descriptor.

My girlfriend who lives with me said that she hates animals in the house. I had two cats, and one was much more of a problem than the other. I found a home for the problem cat but still have Miss Ana and my girlfriend denies any change in her feelings but she talks to the cat every day and plays with her.

people who hate anything for not very strong reasons are too radical for me. None of the reasons you list entitles hate in my opinion. A dislike is fine though. There are some cats I really dislike. Like my friend's cat always jumped up and scratched or bit you for no apparent reason. Poor cat.

I wouldn't get along well with someone who hates animals. However, I don't want a cat of my own. I've always had cats and I said the last two would be the last. I was always cleaning and trying to keep my house from smelling like cats. I love cats, but I don't want to live with them.

In the past, I wouldn't have minded as long as they don't harm or abuse them since I didn't have any cats of my own. Now I've adopted a couple of strays off the street though (one had a hip fracture and the other had a condition that prevented her from being able to eat food anymore, and so I rushed them to the vet and ended up owning them) and so it probably wouldn't work if I was single. The cats would now come with the package. I wouldn't be willing to get rid of them for a date.

I am not much of an animal person myself ( though i would still prefer dogs over cats because dogs are less trouble) and it's perfectly fine for me to date someone who hates cats
