My ex boyfriend told me not to rush into relationships the day he broke up with me, does that mean he has plans to come back to me?

He broke up with me because he has a lot going on in his life and he didn’t want me to be a part of it and suffer with him. He’s still in college and graduating this year, he became the vice captain of the uni rugby team, he’s broke, he has some family responsibilities so he said he can’t commit 100% to me even-though I have told him from the day 1, keep me out of the equation and I will support him no matter what.

I told him I believe in him and he has a good potential and I know he will come to a good place one day. He said he has lost confidence about the future in terms of coming to a good place because the country we live in is so corrupted. We had few disagreements because he didn’t initiate a meet up and it was always me and when I asked he said because he’s broke. Sometimes he’s always with friends and I felt he’s not the same with me and when I started venting my emotions he felt so bad and said better stayed like he was (he was single for 5-6 years).

He said I deserve better. He said I’m the best and kind girl he has ever seen and I’m a little Angel. The day he ended it he cried so much and even I did in the end.

So do you think since he asked me not to rush into relationships that he has an intention to come back when he has his life figured out to give it a chance?
