Boyfriend broke up with me because of 'priorities.' Will he come back?

My boyfriend and I were dating for half a year. We were getting along really well and things were progressing quickly, but he then made some pretty big career changes. One day he just said "I can't balance everything in my life right now with having a girlfriend. My priority right now isn't a relationship. I don't think we should see each other anymore" and that was that lol. It came out of nowhere. He's now single and just working on his career and I've unadded him on social media and deleted his number. I really liked him though. Is there any chance that he might come back to me in the future? Or is this done?

My friends say that he must've not been as invested in our relationship as I was, otherwise he would have kept me. Is that true? He said he doesn't want a relationship point blank, but he always talks about daydreaming about his future wife and getting married one day/what he wants her to be like. Should I just forget him?

Yes just forget him, he'll prob come along later but I wouldn't wait on him. Like he said you aren't his priority and relationships are too much. Who knows how long and it's not fair to you when you can meet someone who wants to be with you

Probably not sorry, sounds like he wasn't that into it (at least enough to carry it on) and used this as an excuse rather than just saying he had lost interest (the truth.) If a guy wants to be with you, nothing will get in the way of it. If he wanted you, he would not put himself in a position to lose you.

I’d move on. It doesn’t sound like he’s all in, and it’s possible the career upgrade is making him think he can upgrade his girlfriend as well. Sure, he could come back, but do you really want someone who is going to bail on you when things get overwhelming and hard?

I think you should forget about him. I don't want to put things in your head but the way he ended things was very harsh. Just let him go.
