Me and my ex split up and agreed to block each other and he still hasn't?

Me and my ex have decided to end our relationship and as we did it we both agreed the best thing to do would be to block eachother.

He still hasn’t blocked me and I messaged him to say we both agreed to block each other so we need to do it and it still hasn’t.

why is this?

Let me ask you this-

Why haven't YOU blocked him? If you had him blocked, you wouldn't know or even have access to him and his life. However, to answer your question, he probably hasn't blocked you because:

• Wants to keep an eye on you, stay in touch, and know how you're doing/see if you've moved on. Or-
• Doesn't care. He's probably mentally and/or emotionally blocked you after the relationship ended

Factoring that in, you need to ask yourself: why do you care that he hasn't blocked you? If I were you, I'd block him and all means if him communicating with you so that you can get on with your life.

Only he knows for sure, but he's probably waiting on you to block him first. As my dad said: "it's only over when she says it's over." You have to be the one to put the final nail in the coffin of your relationship.

I mean I kinda agree with it, from my experience. I just wonder why is that, men always have a hard time ending the relationship?
