Is ex boyfriend hurting me on purpose?

My ex boyfriend is parading pics of him and he's new girlfriend on Facebook. He never did that with me when we were together. Why the sudden need to do that with this new girl?

Even though it really hurt seeing the photo of him and this girl full on all over each other. (He and I also never took photo's like that when we were together). Never responded like I would have earlier by sending a email or text.

He walked out on me end of December last year and found out he got with this girl only 3 months after.

Would he be doing that on purpose to get to me? Had not contacted him in a while. Trying to move on. It has been very hard but will eventually get there.

Girl, I'm going through the EXACT same thing--although my situation is even worse--you think him Facebook-parading a new girl around in 3 months is bad?! Try him meeting someone *2 FREAKING DAYS AFTER YOUR BREAK UP* and beginning to "parade" around a bunch of hurtful pix of him and her in only *2 WEEKS AFTER YOUR BREAK-UP* (and STILL going strong with the nauseating pic-posting)...and there you have MY situation!

So, the keys in this situation are:

1) It's an OBVIOUS! rebound. (Well, definitely! in my case (2 freaking days later? Umm, YEAH...good luck with that, honey!), and possibly yours...)

2) The way he is posting pix like he's on some goddamn parade (when he WASN"T the type to ever do that in the past)--believe me, he is TOTALLY just playing up the attention. He WANTS you to see this stuff and KNOWS you are seeing it. He is peddling HARD to try to appear and convince you and his peers (and HIMSELF, most of all!) that he is "sooooooo happy" and doing "sooooo well" without you--to try and justify that he made the right decision in leaving you. It is NO CO-INCIDENCE that he is acting so out of character with all of this sudden, constant, pukey pic-posting after breaking up with you. NONE at ALL.

If anything, take pride in the fact that he DOES still care enough about you to try and uncharacteristically shove all this crap in your face. It may hurt now, but believe me, it WILL come back and bite him in the ass. Just be patient. And if you're the feisty type (like me, haha)--DO THE SAME THING BACK TO HIM. Find a hot male friend, take pix of yourself with him and plaster them on Facebook for your douchey ex to see back. Give him the same medicine he is trying to give you--sometimes, the only way to get someone to understand something is for them to EXPERIENCE it themself...

Hi my boyfriend said to me he wants to be single and wanted to be free even if it hurts i consider his feeling that he might need more time so i respect it. He said he will see me the next day even we was together at that time. Then I found out he has a pic with a girl I did not confront him or ask him if thats a new girl or just a friend? Girl!!! I'm sure I can tap that story. After living with my boyfriend for a year we split up I thought you going to get back together it was nothing serious. 9 days later he met some girl at the Music Festival next day two of them was engaged how's it possible to get engaged after one night? On top of all he was engaged to me and he got engaged on the 24th which is one year anniversary of us being together. Lol he even message me an offer me a help like I need one from both of them. And yes he is Boston a million pictures and videos I'm still in disbelief

Delete him as a friend or block him. This will allow you to move forward so you can meet someone else. Stop focusing on what he's doing it will only delay and prolong your progress.

Can't really say if he's doing it on purpose or not in the end It really doesn't matter.

What matters is you and how it's making you feel. That's why I say to delete him so you don't have to subject yourself to it. Another option would be. For you to also get some nice hot looking guy or guys and take pictures of you having fun with him or them. Then post, post, post, away. You don't have to be doing anything wrong just show that your really having a great time with your friends and are moving on and living it up without him.

I'm not saying that this will make him jealous or anything, but it will definitely send a clear message that your doing great and are happy.

When you start focusing on yourself and what your doing, you will soon forget what's his name.

Me too yesterday were okay he just said he needs more time but were together he said a lot of things like he loves me but needs more time and He said we will meet the next day but he just sudden not responce then it was YESTERDAY. The next day he post a pic with a girl. And it has comments like love life etc it really hurts. Do I have to confront him or ask if that's a friend only or what? Because until now I did not confront him. I was just quite and really sad now. Is it right not to talk him anymore than confront or ask him?

I agree with LilPinkGirl that you need to remove him, more so block him on Facebook, so you don't see anymore of this. Also, I would suggest blocking his new girlfriend so you won't be tempted to go look at pictures either.

Whether he's posting pictures to make you mad, or he's doing things intentionally does not matter.

It's not that you need to move on quicker, it's that you need to remove him from your view, because you have chosen to move on.

No matter what 'stage' you are in, you need to commit to that, and removing his presence in all manner is required to accomplish that.

i think you still care about him and that's not good , if he wants to publish photos of him and his new girlfriend wtf let him do it , you shouldn't care about that , all you gotta do is to move on and never look back

you should delete him, there is no reason to have him on your friends list. delete him and block him and it won't bother you as much if you don't see it =). I know how you feel though, my ex did the same thing and we never had pix of us up. his loss.

Oh I have deleted him off my profile. Just made the mistake of looking at he's profile. Never doing that again though. He's loss. Exactly!

oh and def like waitingatthedoor said, you should block his new girlfriend too. I don't know why we do it, but when were down, we tend to look at things to make us even MORE down. example; you know your boyfriend has a new girl, you know looking at the photos will make you even sadder, buuut you look anyways at his page, then hers. I do this all the time grrrrr! block her ^__^

Hey I know what your going through I'm also in same stage as you front and center. Me and the x have some friends in common added in Facebook and recently I was looking into my friends profile and there he was He had put a picture of him and his new girlfriend as his profile picture. it was really hard to see that. the only advice I can give you do not let it get to you just keep on going with your life.
