Girls, Is it normal for you to never want to speak to your ex again when you break up?

Very normal- and typically expected when anyone breaks up- male or female! Especially if it was a messy or bad breakup (ie: he cheated), the last thing I want is to associate with an ex!
Plus not talking to an ex allows you to get over them and move on with your life. Why talk to someone that is no longer apart of my life, or wishes to be in it? Continuing to associate with him will just make it that much harder for me to move on.

I view total detachment as a votive offering to the universe where you allow God to decide if your paths will cross again and if there is any remaining interest, it might grow stronger when you back off.

I never broke up with anyone, but I have ended whatever I had with certain individuals, and I have completely detached myself from them without looking back. I had to block a few because they wouldn’t leave me alone. I’m not saying this is normal, but my time is precious and I do t really want to spend it talking to an ex
