Ex started smoking 🍃 recently when he used to get upset at me for doing so?

my ex and i broke up a few years ago but occasionally stay in contact due to mutual friends. he recently messaged me a video of him holding a bl*nt- which confused me because he’d try to get me to stop using 🍃 when we were dating. i did not stop. this, and other problems, ultimately resulted in our breakup.
what is your opinion on this situation?

I personally started smoking regularly after a break up, didn’t realize it until I stopped but I likely was smoking so much to replace the high I felt from being in that relationship. Not saying that’s his reason but if he’s doing it regularly I wouldn’t be surprised if his reasoning is something similar
