Should I report my ex to police?

He lied and cheated on me but when I finally broke up after 4 months of dating, he's been always (fake) apologizing and pestering me to keep talking to him.

After few weeks of breakup he called 100+ times but I blocked his number.

After months of breakup, he still called 50+ times.
I've been giving zero response since TWO F**KIN YEARS!

Eventually he really stopped for weeks.

Now after 2 years of breakup, he called me suddenly called me 15 times today.
It's almost summer vacations now.

P. s - I gave him multiple warnings about breaking up even when we were dating as I used to catch his betrayal many times.
Even after breakup I gave him the closure BUT THE CHEATING ANIMAL DOESN'T UNDERSTAND MY BOUNDARIES.

Also, he even texted me with multiple unknown numbers some of which were even from foreign country, an audio message which I didn't listened as I'm suspecting him to hack my phone.

I broke up clearly, repeated 10 times I don't want a liar and a cheat yet he won't leave me alone. So 2 years I ignored him and now after being quiet for a few weeks, he's back again.

You'll have to file a restraining order, and I don't know if there's anything that can be included now for phone calls etc? It's a type of harassment, but I'm not sure the police can do anything about it because he hasn't physically done anything? But you can certainly call and ask them what you can do (if anything?), or ask if they can do anything? You can also tell him you'll do that if he doesn't stop (sometimes the threat alone might be enough?). Can also change your number. A pain yes, but might be worth it?

If you block him and he circumvents that by using another means to contact you, then yes.
It's a form of harassment.

A better question would be - will the cops take this as priority/seriously? Only if there's a confirmed threat on your safety.

Now he stopped getting new numbers but today I saw his 16 blocked calls on my call log. Like he stopped but out of nowhere he called with his original blocked number.

Yes I will get it changed eventually. But that was again last time he called me out of nowhere. Looks like it was a psycho moment for him but fortunately no calls since the time I asked this question.

Yeah you're spot on. My friend told me to hang out this vacation but then she also included the gossip girl from my class and few days after I got 16 (blocked) calls from him. When I confessed my doubts, she said the gossip girl doesn't know I'm coming, but I have a feeling she lied to me too.

Yeah because as soon as she said she'll include that girl in the plan, I had a feeling that she'll also drag my ex... maybe I should start trusting my observation and intuition more.
