My husband did me dirty. We are now separated and he has not called or text to see how his daughter is doing it's been some time. He made a comment before we separated and he said, "you can't escape from me... when you look at our daughter you see me and when you look in the mirror you also see me". I'm really confused and I'm also pregnant with his child. So I been very emotional and I'm trying to stay strong. It's hard. She sometimes call dada... and start crying. It breaks my heart. He loves his daughter I just don't understand why he is not checking on her or even spending time with her. I don't want to be blamed.

Watch out from that guy. He may use "violencia vicaria"—not sure how it would translate to English—Essentially, it's a type of violence where the abuser use one of your beloved ones—or someone close to you— to hurt you. It can manifest in various forms:

📌He can put them against you.

📌He can win their confidence and try to restrain you from doing something —because he's apparently a good guy in the eyes of your beloved ones.

📌The first two points are connected. Also those who commit "VV"—I still don't know how it's called in English—can reach to extreme lenghts, like literally harming anyone of your social circle—parents, siblings, children, friends, close aquantaince.

Do him dirty then, tell him he is pussing out of his responsibilities for his children, that you have bigger balls then him and you are a woman, that's of course if he isn't paying the child support

My parents are getting separated. I can see your daughters point of view. My dad isn’t at home at all anymore. I can say that I really sympathize for your daughter. My dad never texts me unless I text him first. I do have a lot of negative feelings towards my dad tho just me being able to understand things a lot easier and better. Something my mom has been doing is still offering times so she won’t be at fault. I don’t know if this would be to hard on you but if you try offering a time for him to be with her it might be a good idea? That is assuming there is no major safety issues that concern you.
