4 years together currently broke up almost 2 months. Lots of little things that added up to the breakup. She broke it off with me. Afterthe first?

After the first week she got drunk at bar then slept with a guy. I learned this after about another week. She said it didn't mean anything and I said good. We on and off would have some meals together and kept daily contact on social media. Since we technically apart I decide to go to strip club one night and basically was just thinking about my ex for the hour. Never came in contact or paid any strippers. So me being honest I told my ex and she became instantly hurt and furious and blocked me on FB after I sent her messages saying it was my own test going there and telling her I still loved her and not to be insecure about it. I did not bring up her sleeping with someone. Any thoughts?

My thought is that maybe it’s good she blocked you, so that you can stop giving her attention, and move on. I’m sure this was you two trying to be friends, but you can’t be friends with your ex until you are over her, and vice versa. Otherwise you will keep running into this issue where she’s upset over you going to the strip club, or you’re upset over her hooking up with someone. You are both acting within your right, but it doesn’t mean you’re prepared to hear about each other doing these things just yet.

If you felt nothing about it then that’s good, but if she’s upset over you going to a strip club then I think that shows she isn’t ready to be a friend, and rightfully so. 2 months apart has nothing on the 4 years you spent together, so being broken up will be an adjustment and I’m sure certain things are hard for her. Right now isn’t the best time to build a friendship but it doesn’t mean you won’t be able to in the future.
