Worked with tenant 120 days with Covid.. was still working but 50%.. got on this program and moved just prior to program generating the check.-If not living there I do not receive payment. Kept her wages and bought a new car mind you. "Care Act"

Sorry to hear that. Do you think that was the intent from the start of just how things transpired as time went on?

For example, when I was a younger man a female friend of mine became homeless and asked if she could stay with me. I agreed, I even gave her a key. She slowly fell in love with me and I her, but her history was not something I was prepared to deal with long term.
She went on to say that I used her!

In hindsight, that good deed of mine was only going to result in one thing, what was she meant to think? how many men are willing to feed, and cover a woman without asking for anything in return but for her to get back on her feet?

I think they just realized I was somebody they no longer wanted around, because I did not fit the image and lifestyle they wanted to project to the general public. I just wasn't cool enough anymore, no matter how well I treated them. I'm also extremely intense and people can't deal with my personality. People often see me as a means to an end, especially when it comes down to them needing to fix some kind of problem that is interrupting their life, stuff they can't or don't want to deal with. I work well under extreme pressure and the worse the situation, the faster I think. I'm basically a professional at saving people's asses. I'm more guarded now that I'm getting older. I realized that I shouldn't be sticking my neck out for people who don't or won't go out of their way for me.
Sometimes people fall for the wrong person and when they realize it, the other person doesn't want to accept the fact. If you told her you couldn't deal with her past, that might have made her feel worthless and then that's why she felt used. If you didn't tell her that her past bothered you but ended things with her because it did, then maybe she thought you were using her because she didn't know why things ended between you two. If a guy and girl live together and are attracted to each other, they are going to be fucking sooner or later. Just because you were having sex doesn't mean you were using her. If you didn't say or imply that she has to have sex with you to stay there, then it was not using her. She was using you for a place to stay before the sex started. I would let a woman I know move in temporarily if I knew I could trust her and not ask for anything in return. I'm not going to say no if she wants to jump in the sack with me, either haha

I certainly did not make it a requirement that she should sleep with me. I say her down before she moved in and told her explicitly that this I had no plans for a relationship with her nor would I! But I equally didn't lock my bedroom door when going to sleep at night, nor change the skimpy attire I wore around the house haha

I've come to terms with it. Whether or not they realize it appreciate it, in the end I always accomplished what I originally intended to do. Be at the right place at the right time so I can allow them to continue with their life or save their lousy asses.
