Why is he staying friends online?

A crush who I kissed earlier this year now totally ghosted me. but he is still facebook friends he won't delete me or block me. I've texted him several times like, hey whats up. just ghost. So why does he keep me on social media as a friend at all? clearly he's mad at me about something. I have no idea. Why won't he just block me or something if he's clearly done with me?

He didn’t delete or block you, but why would he? If you were in his shoes, sure you probably would’ve done the whole delete or block, but that’s how you as an individual would make your next move. Not everyone cares to do all that on social media, especially if there’s no hard feelings on their end. What it sounds like is that you two kissed and ultimately he doesn’t feel that spark, so he’s not engaging with you. This doesn’t mean there has to be some sinister or malicious feelings on his end (and maybe you want there to be because you want the ghosting to make more sense). He’s just not caring enough to do what you would do, and you shouldn’t make this more than it is in your mind. If him still having you as a friend makes you feel some sort of way, and you’re not hanging on to him, then just delete him yourself. Otherwise I’d let it go.
