Ex girlfriend stalks me online. What do I do?

We broke up in February. ( I broke up with her) But since then she hasn't stopped cyber-stalking me. My Facebook, twitter, tumblr, okcupid, gmail EVERYTHING! She looks online to try to find profiles of my stuff.

I am getting really annoyed of the ridiculous privacy settings I need on my Facebook meaning no one else can find me either.

I want to start blogging again and doing some current life relevant stuff but I feel trapped by this woman!

I would like to start dating again and get myself out there via internet but sh*ts scary!

We haven't talked and that's not even in the cards because I'm afraid of her knowing my new phone number/adress. Yes the kind of girl with very scary relatives.

I am actually scared she might be reading this haha

I have been stalked too by an ex! It's really crazy. It was not as bad as you seem to have it. This ex of mine just doesn't seem to get it. He didn't want to be with me, when he was with me he was always looking for someone 'better' so I had it and gave up and told him, "go be with that 'better' person". Yet he still tries to find me on Facebook, and talks to all my friends trying to find stuff out about my life. I have moved on tenfold from this relationship, I have no interest in him anymore. Yet he persists. It's odd :S

But the only advice I can give to you, is ignore her. Everything she does, do not acknowledge it. That will only make her think she has a chance with you. Disconnect from everything you have with her, msn, Facebook, tumblr, whatever you have, disconnect from her. Tell your friends not to tell her your new number. And yes, keep the privacy settings up. You can change the settings on Facebook to only show brief segments of your profile. Keep your number and address off the profile. Privatize all pics, except for friends or chosen people. You can do all that.

If her relatives threaten you, call the police. They have no right to harm you or to threaten you or make you feel unsafe because your ex girlfriend is crazy. That is her problem and she needs to realize it only pushes you away. She will eventually take a hint and realize you are no longer interested in a relationship. Find a new girl, do online dating. If she continues to harass you or does anything like that, report her for stalking. I think you can block users, at least on most sites you can.

But whatever you do, don't let her behavior keep you from enjoying your life. If she wants to be a crazy stalker chick, let her. People will only get freaked out by it once it goes on for a while. Once they see she will probably become outcasted for it, no one wants a stalker. So hopefully she will realize that she just needs to move on.

She has a new Boyfriend already! I just hate having her following me online. Looking at my every move. She is very dedicated to finding out what sites I use. Going from googleing my name to my common usernames or informaton you would put in your about me. For social networking sites put my age and where I'm from in the search and go through every page till I come up.

They should make an online-restraining order...

I completely agree with the online restraining order thing! Some people just don't get it, they think it's okay to follow you around to different sites :S It's creepy. Change up the username if you can. Try to add different details in your about me. If she finds you, block her. Report her, do what you can to escape her. My ex boyfriend still tries to hunt up info too, it's been like 4 years :S Some people are just creepy!

This IS scary :S Sorry to hear what's going on.

Do you know exactly who are people who "stalks" under her? If you know, set your blog privacy setting to very very limited privacy and specially to very few viewers. As for dating a girl, does her other friends or relatives and herself would affect or harm the girl you wanna date in the future? if no, it doesn't matter, but keep it as discreet as possible.

If you have a "don't care attitude", it doesn't matter what she does and just do your thing. On the other hand, if you are someone who worries and cares about these stuff, I'm afraid privacy setting is inevitable. Overall, I would still suggest you take caution.

If all things fails and she's ridiculous, report to the police.

are you sure its her? that's a sh*tty deal. she probably needs counselling and hopefully you didn't hurt her or something and she's trying to get vengence. she really should focus on herself and heal from whatever is bothering her. ignore is all you can do.

you must have done something really bad with her...i did this myself cause the person disappeared leaving me in a mess...i wanted to know what happened...and he knew I googled his name cause he had hacked in to my emails and key logged into my computer...i decided then I wasn't doing anything wrong...i had every right to know what was happening...and I am sure...you have done something similar...better talk to her..put a closure...and put an end..peace for both...suprisingly even I broke up end of jan..quite a coincidence insnt it...and people who suggest ignoring...i wish you fall into the same thing tht fell into and then you will understand ... better not give advice without knowing both sides of the story...you are demonizing another for no reason...and giving wrong ideas to people!

I learned that, if you want to get rid of someone, ignore him/her.

Maybe she's stubborn, but everybody loses their interest at some point.

No words can move a person to stop as long as they have their own version about what's what in mind.

Try it if you want, just start dating and don't give a damn about her.

yeah because on Facebook you can't see who views your profile, and if it is set to private except for friends and such than "outsiders" can't see what you post. You can also block people from seeing your profile forever! And how can you tell that she's googling you?
