Is it true that if an ex broke up with you because of distance, they never really loved you?

He broke up with me because he’s moving to another country. He didn’t even try to compromise or ask if I can potentially move with him and see how things would work out. There are couples out there who never gave up and ended up happy together. I asked maybe one day we can meet and if I can come he said “no”. Not sure how to heal from this it’s been 3 weeks.

Sounds heart breaking but I don't think all people who break up over long distance didn't really love each other sometimes loving someone means letting them go but your boyfriend sounds like he wants to move on with life without you which is painful sounds like you really like him but pain is a part of life, you will heal from this and you will move on take your time healing and just know that this is a new chapter for you as well, be excited for what's to come on your new chapter.

no that's not always what that means. but in your case, it seems like it yeah. the reason i say this is because he didn't try to compromise or plan for the future. he is done with the relationship.

I mean. We were never mets. I did have strong feelings for her. I called it love. If I decided to end things was because of my mental health. The relation wasn't heading anywhere.
