Me and my girlfriend fell in love in distance. We are still in a long distance relationship. We're together for seven years now. We are going to get married soon and i'll move to Finland so we could start our together life.

Not really love, but certainly like a lot and be really interested in.
Yes.
And despite all that I think it for the best to stay apart.
Yeap. And now he's gone.

Yes I have. It caused me to feel lonely and cold at night every day and it did not make lot of sense because I've never had a bed partner but just thinking about unrequited love would keep my body cold and lonely every night at around bed time. I asked about it online and somebody said nature makes you feel that way because you are genetically programmed to look for a mate.
Yeah i do, most of my relationships were long distance. It nice and lonely
Yes. My girlfriend lives in another state. We're doing whatever we can to be together but it's hard in the mean time. I think the effort we're making to be together is representative of our feelings for one another. Neither of us would try this hard for a superficial romance, and I think it also shows that we're both able and willing to work to make our relationship last. Unless she's hiding something devastating from me I want to marry her at some point down the line, and I think she feels the same way. I think distance can be extremely beneficial to a relationship if it's meant to be a lasting one. People say it's hard and it definitely is, but relationships are hard in general. If you want something easy then go find a whore and a hotel room. Figuratively speaking you could describe a healthy relationship as "Continuously minimizing the distance between two people without repelling each other", so I'd say it's possible to love from a distance as long as the distance continues to shrink.
Congrats! You got what you wanted and are now happy! Instead of just admiring, wishing, from afar. Imagine if you didn’t..
**Go for it! You never know! In this case, it worked out fine! (Very rare, but possible!)
I never did from afar, I always took chances.Yeaaano. Closely enough though. You have to be determined to make it happen though, long distance relationships is a massive lie on your own selves. That's why you have to take it to a committed level to figure someone out and make the plunge to meet eachother before finally finding a place to live. I'm not interested in it taking several years though, and that's what it'd take. At least, at least within the first year or so you figure out eachother so so much. A single day of typing or voice chat is like a week or month of real life stuff because you get the benefit of constant flowing communication.
I’m curious how do you garner love actually from silence afar? Even if it means only looking but seldom communicating or it becomes awkward as usual if it’s attempted? Does that imply what?
LDR rn. About to change after almost 3 years. It's a good experience actually and I would say we have an even stronger bond than most couples I know. I mean, you wouldn't really pay so much money and travel for 5h to meet someone you didn't love. It can be hard sometimes but I feel even more empowered to keep trying when I realize how amazing it is that we love each so much
@StingRayxoxo My longest distance relationship was about 3 miles away from me, I think the fact I'm still singles suggest I need to spread my relationship net lol
Oh wow this literally describes the situation between me and this girl I've been talking to we've literally said that we are in love we care about each other but we live so far apart we can't be together and we aren't fans if long distance relationship so we agreed to provide each other with the emotional comfort that a bf/gf would provide until we get a GF/BF of our own
i have another excuse to post this again :3

All my crushes have been at a distance, I find it difficult to read intent towards me and fear hurting the object or ruining our friendship too much to say anything.
No one at the moment though so no need to tell me what I already know :)“ I’ll try to keep my distance; tell you I love you when you’re not listening”
Haha always likes that line.. as I could relate.I'm crushing on someone right now, but they told me they don't want to date at school, so I guess I'll try not to like them too much.
No, because I have to truly get to know them first in order for that to happen.
Still do. I only see a friend who I love dearly a couple of times a year...
Yes, I feel for 2 ladies I had the hots for sadly both were married and I knew their husbands. So I had to look on from a far and only dream !!!
No seems people who like that don't want commitment or use person
Yeah. Both geographically, but also in my vicinity and I didn't want them to know. LOL
Not really I guess. Not the love you're talking about. I could, but don't have the chance. Lol.
