My ex boyfriend hasn't told his friends we broke up or deleted our photos from Facebook?

My ex of five years broke up with me a month ago. I didn't want it to happen but he said he'd been thinking about it for over a week. He said he truly loves me but doesn't think the relationship is going anywhere. Since then I text him saying I miss him and he replied saying he misses me too. We sent a couple of texts over a day or two but then he found out I was on Tinder and told me we shouldn't message anymore. I was feeling really down and missing him so I looked at his Facebook and noticed that all of the pictures of us are still there. He seemed pretty sure he wanted to end things but now I'm feeling some mixed signals, is it possible he's not quite sure about the breakup? I don't want to ask him outright because he's asked me not to message and I'm trying to give him space.

You didn't end on bad terms, so I'd imagine that he doesn't feel the need to rewrite history and pretend you weren't together for quite some time rather than wanting to get back together now
