Will he meet me or he lied?

I asked him if he's free today. He said he's meeting someone so he will leave early. For tomorrow, he said no and then he was like how he has a friend coming over and that he will be working throughout.

He was lying because he was at university in the late evening so he didn't leave early (I saw him). He was also saying this week he's doing university stuff but when I asked, he started saying how he has so many plans

I didn't say anything after that and he then said Friday. I will be here on Friday during the day. He didn't say much on that but he did say Friday.

He was very mad at me because he wasn't even talking to me properly. I had told him I will text him on Monday last Friday but for some reason he thought I would text him before. I didn't and he looked mad. However he was still talking to me (pretending).

I show affection/care towards him in person but it seems like he doesn't care about it and all he cares about is me texting him. If i dont text, he gets mad. I dont get it. Why does he place so much value on meaningless texts?

Also if he doesn't want to see me anymore then why talk?

Who is "he"? That would help in giving better advice. Is he a friend? Boyfriend? What is "he" to you? I will just assume for now this is just a friend at this point and someone you are interested in or might consider dating. I am making this assumption from the details that you wanted to meet up.

Now, I will say this, it doesn't matter friend or boyfriend or whatever your current relation is to him. If he lied to you, that is a huge red flag. That is the first thing that breaks trust in any relationship, be it friend or if you are dating.

Trust is one of many things that has to be present in a relationship for it to work. Once one party breaks that trust, it is very difficult to gain that back because you will always wonder if he is telling the truth or lying again.

Just from your description, I would say move on from this guy. This is assuming you are 100% sure he lied to you. That that point, I would walk away from him. I know you have feelings but what is your feeling on him lying, right?

It is possible that he is playing hard to get. My whole thing is he lied, and no matter the reason he did it that is a huge red flag for me personally.

In fact, my texts would be…”what do you want out of this relationship?” Ask him what you want to know via Text…in writing ✍️. This is an easy fix…. you can stop wondering WHY etc. make sense ⁉️
