Why is my ex getting fat with her new boyfriend. She started dating this guy a month after me and her broke up. She was somewhat skinny and healthy with me and now she is getting huge with this other guy?

She doesn't care what he thinks of her because she don't care much about him. Heard some pretty lame reasons. When you care about someone you want to look your best & that's all there is to it.

That's like saying, I feel so comfortable & love my girlfriend so much, I'm not going to shower & turn into a slob, stop exercising & get fat because it's not going to make her less attracted or affect the relationship, and I already have her. Yea right. See how long that lasts before she hitails it.

As a side note that comfortable excuse might be true after a few years but in the early stages no way.

Because she is consuming more calories than she is spending. One explanation could be that both enjoying eating and are not very active physically and spend a lot of time watching TV and sleeping.

It is said when a women/girl is happy in a relationship and feel totally comfortable she put on weight eating more also shows how happy you are when in a good relationship you become more care free with your weight even more so if you kept your body that way to attract a guy and when you have the right on there is no need to as much

Comfort shouldn't come at the cost of self development. There are plenty of relationships (incl. marriages) where the "spark" has diminished because one or both parties stopped doing what what made the other fall for them, in the first place. I wouldn't be okay if my fit girlfriend becomes fat. She will have to work on herself if she wishes to stay with me, as I am working on myself aswel. If she chooses to take the lazy road, then she can find some boyfriend who chooses to be fat with her. Your type of comment is what why the quote "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" exists. Because it sounds all nice, but it will do damage in the long run.

That's a very shallow way of thinking. The real answer is that she doesn't respect him or herself enough to stay in shape. He doesn't have a spine to put his foot down and tell her to work on her weight (given that he likes fit girls). A real man would set boundaries and not allow himself or his girl to drift away in comfort at the cost of health and physical appearance. To care about the appearance and health of your partner is also a sign of love. Time will tell if the new boyfriend would fall for another better looking girl. Stop twisting reality.

It's because her new boyfriend doesn't have the balls to set boundaries which push her to keep herself healthy. That is what we call a 'beta male'. He doesn't dare to say a word, because he is scared of losing her. While a real man would push his woman to become the better version of herself and make her compete with other females who are ready to take her place. If she truly cared about what he thinks of her, then she would make sure she stays 'hot' for him (unless he likes fat girls). My girlfriend is a sporty one before she met me, but now she is with me, she is even more motivated keep herself in even more shape, all so she can be and feel sexy for me.

Its one of three things but most likely the first. 1. he takes her out to eat alot. 2. he cooks good and a lot 3. she's comfortable with her weight with him.

Fat girls are usually more miserable and self aware because of their weight. It is very rare for anyone, especially a girl who has been in good shape, to fall out of shape and be happy in her own skin. Not convinced.
