For me it's about 2:00 pm (14:00) o'clock in thr evening. Why? Because if the news is heartbreaking (meaning related to someone I love a lot) it can give me nausea which will make my appetite poor and two things on top my head, I get sick (nauseated) when I don't eat... but nausea prevents me from eating... a paradox?
So tell me after I've had at least two meals
and
it's still not right before I go to bed, it's enough time for me to calm a bit or at least settle and possibly think of some resolutions so I have better chance of sleeping. And I might have had the opportunity to get encouragement from others rather than if I learn terrible news at bedtime and I'm there alone, or at least not wanting to disturb anyone for comfort. Sure some situations I would want to be alone for at some point but I still need time to calm down.
