How do I deal with my first break up as a 15 year old?

Update- I’m doing fine now me and my ex talked and I felt better about the whole break up thing.

Hey, break-ups are never easy. I had my first heartbreak last year at the age of 20. I started to spiral, got into depression and self-harm. Though this one year, I’ve realised how much I’ve grown. Grief is a better teacher than joy. Spend time and focus on yourself - it might seem hard at first, but then you’ll realise how much you enjoy being alone. Being single can feel lonely and even scary at times - but hey, alone but safe, right? Things will be tough but it does get easier with time. I haven’t fully healed nor moved on but with the grace of God, one day I will. I wish you the best.

Yeah it sucks but he was honest with you and don’t be angry with him. It’s just not meant to be.


Maybe counseling if you’re really low. Allow yourself to grieve you got a good heart and obviously care about him. Eventually you’ll move on and start liking someone else

Start hanging out with friends, find another boyfriend, focus on school work. Lots of time for boyfriends later in life
