Why would my ex do stuff like this?

We haven't been talking recently, mostly cause of a bad rebound that she had that hurt her. But she never ruled out the future, and left it upto me to cut ties if I wanted. (We did go out once like 3 months ago, and was close to being involved legitimately again, but she backed off due to the issues.)

But she recently made a playlist public on spotify thats basically all romantic songs. And in the past we did kinda communicate through reddit posts when we were broken up originally, so could it be a similar sort of thing? The play list existed for like 2.5 months before she made it public though, so makes me think that it was a conscious action and not accidental. (Also FWIW, she blocked her ex on Spotify so he wouldn't get any ideas based off her playlists, so could be a little bit of foreshadowing in a way?)

I think its partially supposed to be a hint towards me, because she knows I know her spotify and used to peak at it. Plus the whole thing with us doing similar with reddit posts over the year since the original break up till this past time.

Honestly, I doubt that’s the case just from knowing how she is and what she’s been through. Plus if that was the case she would have completely removed me and blocked me like she did when we originally broke up

I am not privy to your detail. Screwing with your head is awfully tempting and your Assumptions set you up for that !! Reading in to an unknown and assuming it to be truth is not wise. Work with the evidence...

I mean, she is 100% the type to cut contact if she never want to talk to me again. She's done it before to me, to her other ex, to former friends. But the fact that she never removed me makes me think she does intend to loop back when she sorts stuff out. And the playlist thing kinda feels like when we used to communicate without directly speaking through open letters and reddit posts.

Truthfully, I do want another chance. But I don't think its farfetched just due to her behaviour from the past and this time. Especially given how she left it upto me to cut contact rather than her doing it. Makes me think she wants to revisit it, but feels bad about making me wait, so she gives me a way out

Start dating someone else... pics from going out on your own, go to a bar and tell the Fellas what you are trying to do... you will have 5 best man friends ever and some girls huddled in too. Will be interesting to see if she tries to keep you or tosses you !!

Eh, there is no way for her to really see stuff like that, since neither of us really use social media. But in the past she did get a bit jealous when I started talking to another girl. But in my opinion, if I did date others she's be very hurt, and she would be hurt if I cut contact too.

Even when we were broken up she felt bad for dating others, as did I with dating people. We always seemed to have a really close connection otherwise
