How do I get my ex back after 3 months apart? He said he wanted to focus on himself and that time would be the best thing for us. That we would be friends for now. It was mutually decided, but I decided I don't want that. I've respected this time and space for awhile now, but I can't do it anymore, it's driving me up a wall not having my person. It was 4 years, and that is a pretty significant chunk of time to just throw away everything we built.

3 months feels long for you because you miss him so much and every day just drags by, but it’s not long at all, which I’m sure you don’t want to hear. Trust me, men are perfectly capable of coming back if that’s what they want to do, but for your ex he’s probably not ready. 4 years together doesn’t mean you have to lock in your relationship for 4 more. That time wasn’t wasted, it’s just come to an end.

Also, please don’t think that I do not understand. I was in a relationship from 21 to just last year and I’m 30 now. Sometimes parting ways is best, and if you love him then you can’t be selfish and regard only you feelings. If he needs time, then really give him that. It’s the selfless thing to do.

Me being a guy and me having the worst experience in relationships when you love a person so much that it pains you to even imagine a life without them... but i would recommend talking to him face to face... once you lose this person you never really heal... me and my Ex have been together for 7 years on and off and now being with her again has made me realize i cannot spend one Minute of my life without her... we both made mistakes and we both struggle to forgive and forget but slowly we have gotten there.. so my best advice for you is to not let this person slip through your fingers.. me not having my ex back has turned me into a shell of a man

how do i go about getting him to talk to me he's been cold and I know he cares, but he's stuck on this being focused on himself stuff. I went to his house and confronted him but he told me to move on and barely said a word other than that, he could barely look at me.
