I don’t people see relationships the same. At least for me as a woman I feel like every time I’m with someone I give a little bit of myself to them. And no matter what the cause for the break up I know I’m never going to get that back. The piece of myself and the live I envisioned with them. And I don't know what the situation is with ur breakup but my relationships have always ended bc I’ve either been cheated on or I can tell the guy loses interest and treats me poorly or distant until I ultimately end or the relationships blow up in a huge fight. The logical side of my Brain moves on but I’d lie if I say there isn’t a part of me that’s always wonder why wasn’t I enough. And knowing that u gave ur all to someone and it wasn’t enough it’s this feeling like. I gave them everything and it wasn’t enough. Like if someone new a horrible secret about u and being around them made u feel shame. But it’s more a feeling that stays or comes when u let go of all the hurt and anger. Like I tried to love that person and they didn’t think I was enough. It’s uncomfortable to be around.

On seeing you around if she always puts her head down then she is seeking your attention by standing out in the crowd where everyone else's head is up. She is clearly not over you yet and neither you are because you cared to ask this question.

She is your ex, not your present girlfriend. She has her dignity too due to which despite being interested she tries to show she is not.
