Can I fix our marriage?

Husband brought up to me that he wants to have another wife. He's also using the bible to justify it. I told him that I want a divorce. He blamed me for all the problems in the marriage when he is the one started everything. He also said well at least I have you two children to love. What is that suppose to mean. I just broke down and cried. On top of that I just had a baby two weeks ago. What should I do?

You mean your “ex husband”? No, you should not be looking to fix your marriage. Take this as a golden ticket and get the hell out of this marriage. Seriously. Your partner seems like a piece of work and the fact that he is using the Bible to justify wanting two wives is the most disgusting thing that I’ve read in a week.

Were these problems present before you got pregnant? Or did they arise when you were pregnant?

You should put your baby first. Tell him that you will give him the damn divorce and ask him to step up and be a good father to his kids. At least one of you should take accountability for your actions. Pointing fingers at such a stressful time is not a magic potion to your problems. Listen, having a baby is tough, especially the first few weeks. Could you go and stay over at your parents’ or friends’ or siblings’ house along with your baby? You need some peace and time for yourself. Not more drama.

He's a piece of work. You just had his baby and he wants another woman? If I were you I wouldn't want to stay with him. I don't think your marriage to him is worth saving. It seems like you love him more than he loves you. Divorce him and take him to the cleaners. I'm sure this is not what you wanted to hear but I think you would be better off without him
